History Of Comfort Arms Inc.
Comfort Arms Inc. began in 2021, when our CEO, Georgia, launched our nonprofit mission by collecting 26 bags of coats and clothing to aid individuals in need throughout Atlanta and its surrounding areas.
Georgia saw her mother give of herself from a young age. Going into neighbors’ homes from end to end of her small South Carolina town, Georgia saw her mother bathe the ill, cook for the weak and clean for the downtrodden, without asking for anything in return.
"We didn’t have much to give, [but] I witnessed my mother giving through service."
Now, after 30 years in Customer Service, Georgia finally has the opportunity to carry on the legacy of her mother. Through Comfort Arms, Georgia exemplifies the Biblical scripture, “And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased” (Hebrews 13:15, Holy Bible).
Georgia holds a B.S in Business Administration and HR Management. She currently works as a Business Analyst for a large retailer and part-time as a travel advisor to satiate her love of globetrotting.
T. Hamilton started caring for people as soon as he reached adulthood. As a loving father and mentor to 4 children, he is no stranger to what it means to feed bodies, minds, and hearts. It is an empathetic skill set he learned from his grandparents, who taught him how to respect everyone, no matter their station in life. Later, TL would act as the primary caregiver of his grandparents in their golden years, at the ages of 92 and 86. Comfort Arms was a natural progression of what he came to understand as his life’s calling, to serve God’s children.
T. Hamilton is a military veteran, serving in the Army Reserves as a Behavioral Science Specialist and reached the rank of an E4. He also has over 30 years of leadership experience in Customer Service, Retail, Training, and Sales. He is a growing food conservationist currently exploring the joy of growing food, practicing hydroponics, and learning aquaponics. He also believes that we should live by the Platinum Rule: "Treat people how they want to be treated." We are Blessed to be a Blessing to others.
