Our nonprofit journey began in 2021 when our CEO, Georgia, collected 26 bags of coats and clothing to distribute to those in need in Atlanta and its surrounding areas. Her vision extended beyond clothing to include hygiene kits, aiming to address basic needs directly on the streets.
Joining forces with Georgia, T Hamilton helped expand our mission by providing hot meals and snack bags to combat the pervasive issue of food insecurity. This partnership was fueled by our personal funds, a testament to our commitment to our life’s calling. We owe immense gratitude to a vast network of family, friends, and compassionate individuals who have generously donated clothes, food, and funds to support our shared cause.
Currently, over 34 million Americans, including 9 million children, face food insecurity. In Georgia alone, 1 in 8 residents and 1 in 6 children live with this uncertainty, including many families unable to provide a nutritious daily lunch for their children. We are dedicated to doing our part to alleviate this hardship in Fulton, Cobb, and Cherokee counties.
For 2024, we have set an ambitious goal to provide 20,240 servings to those in need. Through the support of our community and continued partnerships, we are committed to reaching and surpassing this target, one meal and one person at a time.
